| PLAYING RIGHTS
8. The course may be closed on any date as determined from time to time by the Board, and except when the course is closed :-
8.1 Full, Honorary Life, Younger Member, Professional, Transitory
and Corporate Sponsors with approved seven day entitlements have full rights to the use of the course.
8.2 Country/Interstate/Overseas Members have full rights to the use of the course on twelve occasions per year without the payment of green fees.
8.3 Intermediate Members have rights to the course Sunday to Friday inclusive.
8.4 Weekday Members have rights to the course Monday to Friday inclusive, and on Sundays after the field crosses over at approximately 3.30pm. On Sundays, Weekday Members are not permitted to introduce playing guests.
8.5 Specific Day Members have rights to the course Monday and Friday only.
8.6 Limited Members have the right to play twelve times per year on a day other than a Saturday, providing that they have paid for twelve Green Fees at the time that annual Subscriptions are due;
8.6.1 Incapacitated members have no playing rights or practice rights. Incapacitated Members may use the practice facilities prior to resuming their Membership. Incapacitated Members should advise the General Manager or Director of Golf that they are resuming practice.
8.6.2 Social members have no playing rights or practice rights unless they are invited as a guest of a member and a green fee is paid in accordance with By-Laws 5.1, 5.3 and 5.5.
8.7 In mixed major competitions as listed, a Member with the right to play on the day, may invite a partner from any other playing category, without payment of a green fee, with the exception of Limited Members.
8.8 On Saturdays, Junior Members are restricted to the a.m. time sheet(Medal days included), except on major competition days, and for Club representation. However, Junior Members are permitted access to the course after 4.30 p.m. on Saturdays provided the afternoon competition field has completed its crossover. No more than two (2) Juniors (under 18) may play together during Club Championship qualifying rounds, or major club competitions.
8.9 Full (Pending) Members have rights to the course Sunday to Friday inclusive, and play on Saturday a.m.timesheet between the 15th November and the 15th March, except on the days of Club Championship Qualifying rounds when no play is permitted. On Monthly Medal days and the Saturday p.m. timesheet,
Full (Pending) Members may only place their name on the time sheet from the Thursday immediately prior to the Saturday of play. In the event that the time sheets are then full, they may play after the field crosses over at approximately 3.30 p.m.
8.10 Tee times will be allocated for competition days as follows:
Saturdays:
Mens competition as per time sheet from 7.00 a.m. There will not be a Ladies competition until the number of ladies eligible to play is sufficient to form a ladies competition field as set down in the conditions of play for ladies competitions.
Sundays:
An open time sheet operates from 7.00 a.m. to 1.29 p.m. on these days. Members may only introduce one (1) guest on the Sunday morning time sheets up until 9.00 a.m. on the Thursday morning immediately preceding the Sunday of play. Every guest must be able to produce evidence of his/her Australian handicap, or an equivalent national handicap from another country. A Member wishing to introduce more than one guest on the Sunday time sheet prior to 9.00 a.m. on the Thursday morning may seek approval from the President, Captain, or General Manager. Permission may be granted in special circumstances.
Tuesdays:
Both tees are reserved for Ladies competition until the field has crossed over.
Wednesdays:
An open time sheet operates from 7.28 a.m to 1.29 p.m. Ladies are not permitted to play on the p.m. time sheet.
Public Holidays: and all other days
An open time sheet operates from 7.00 a.m. to 1.29 p.m.
Note: i) No person shall be permitted to hit off after 1.29 p.m. until the field has crossed over.
ii) At the discretion of the Match Committee all the above times may be varied by up to 30 minutes at times of the year when daylight hours are short.
8.11 Eligibility to win Men's major competitions is restricted to Full, Honorary Life, Country, Junior, Younger Member, and Transitory Members only.
8.12 Eligibility to win Ladies major competitions is restricted to all playing categories except Limited. |
